Coach Micah Mitchell is a passionate basketball coach and former athlete with a deep love for the game. A four-year varsity basketball player at Shorewood High School, Micah showcased his talent early, leading to a collegiate career at North Seattle College. Following college, he played professionally in the ABA and continues to compete locally in the Jamal Crawford Pro Am.
Since 2012, Micah has been dedicated to coaching youth basketball, using the sport as a platform to teach valuable life lessons and foster development in young athletes. In 2018, he joined LocalHoops, where he has continued to make a positive impact. Currently, Micah serves as the Assistant Varsity Coach for the Bellevue High School Girls Basketball Program, bringing his expertise and passion to the next generation of players.
Off the court, Coach Micah enjoys spending quality time with his wife Monica and their two beloved dogs, Milton and Lola.
